The Day Has Arrived!!

In about 4 more hours I will be heading to the hospital to get prepped to bring our 3rd BABY BOY into this world via c-section. I am nervous and should be sleeping right now but so many things are running through my mind! I have left naming this little guy up to Adam so I don't even know what his name will be!! I guess a little surprise in a planned out day isn't so bad.

I am looking forward to holding my little bundle soon:)

Adam and I were watching C-sections on YouTube and Kaden and Tristen came in to watch it and when it was done Kaden said "Mom don't let the doctors do that to you!" He says the baby will just climb the latter from my stomach and go out of my mouth. The mind of a four year old!!

Thank you to all of you for the love and support you have sent to our expanding family. We appreciate all of it. And a big thank you to my parents for watching Tristen and Kaden while I am in the hospital!!

Smoke-Out

Kaden tried to get me to make him a pretzel when it was time for bed. I said no and to go to bed. 5 minutes later he said can I close your door which he does when he wants to do something he's not supposed to. He shut the door and about 10 minutes later I hear Tristen saying "Did you cook it?" and Kaden says "yes" and then I hear little feet in the hall. So I open the door to go bust them when I am confronted with a wall of smoke that has filled the dinning room living room and kitchen. We can't really breathe but I go to the microwave and open the door to this mess

Tristen I think has earned his badge for fire safety in scouts because he is telling Kaden to get low and crawl out of the house to our "meeting place".
Tristen told Kaden the next time he wants a pretzel to tell him and he will help." Kaden said "I was trying to be sneaky!"
(Maybe the ninja smoke screen trick?)
They get out of the house and I open all the doors and widows. I take the kids to my parents house and switch them for a fan to help clear out the smoke.
With the lovely smoke gone I go to pick up the kids and when we get home Kaden says...
"Is my pretzel ready?"
It's a good thing there wasn't a fire because I took one step outside the house and my flip flop broke and then went to get in the truck and the battery was missing from the remote for the car alarm so I have to go back in to find the battery with all the smoke. Smoke really does make your lungs burn!!

It"S a BoY!!!

Today we had an ultrasound and found out we are having another boy! Tristen hopes that this baby will beat on Kaden the way Kaden beats on Tristen and Kaden just wanted cereal. Adam is so excited because he was terrified to have a girl because of when she would start dating. I took a little while to get use to the idea of another boy... about an hour! I was so proud of myself I didn't even cry when the tech said boy :) I did when I saw the cut little hand and foot.
Little foot
Little Hand I can't wait to hold my little man! Only 4 1/2 more months!!

First days

First two days of staying at home and Kaden is sick!! He has not moved from the couch all day and just lays there. I got a lot of much needed cleaning done while Emma was sleeping. I love having the house cleaner than what it has been. Next week I want to start scrubbing everything! It's sad that I am looking forward to doing a bunch of cleaning but it never got done before because I never had time. I am loving it though!!!

Great News!!

Two of my bosses had to speak with me today and said that due to the enrollment going down I can either take a pay cut, change my hours to later, and go to a different classroom with the younger children or... I could be laid off. I chose to be laid-off and am ecstatic about it!!! I WILL NOW BE A FULLTIME MOM!! I am so excited to be able traise and teach Kaden and Be home for Tristen. What a great blessing it was! Never thought losing my job would be great but it will be!
